Track, verify, and document the legal authorizations required to execute a Work Order (WO). Link specific "Pre-Requirements" (the need for a permit) to "Permits Obtained" (the actual legal document). Ensure that work interventions only proceed when all legal and safety conditions are satisfied.
Access Permit Management for a Work Order

Navigate to Feature > Core > Work Order Management > Search WO

Enter the search filters for a WO in the Filters menu.

Select a WO from the menu.

Click Permit Management

Review the Work Order Summary at the top to confirm the WO Id, Operations Center, and current Status.

Consult the Pre-Requirements table to see which permits are mandatory and if any are "Blocking" the progress of the work.
Add and Manage Pre-Requirements
Define the specific types of permits required for the entire Work Order or a single operation within it.

In the Pre-Requirements section, click the New Pre-Requirement icon.

Enter the required information:

Permit Type: Select from the predefined registry. The system will auto-populate the Description and the Institute.

Code: The permit’s unique internal ID.

Blocker: Toggle this flag if the WO cannot be started/finished without this authorization.

Click Save.
Register an Obtained Permit
After you receive the actual written permit, record its details to satisfy the Pre-Requirement.

Click on a row in the Pre-Requirements table. The Permits Obtained table will appear below it.

In the Permits Obtained table, click the New Obtained Permit icon.

Enter Details:

Practice Code: The official reference number provided by the issuing Institute.

Request Date: The permit’s request date
-
Validity Start / Due Date: The legal window in which the permit is active.

Notes: Add any specific field instructions.

Click Save.
Manage Permit Attachments
Upload the digital copy of the permit to ensure field technicians can access it on their mobile devices.

In the Permits Obtained table, click the Three Dots Menu and select Attachments.

Upload File: In the pop-up, click the Upload File icon.

Configure Document:

Name: Provide a clear title for the file.

File Section: Select the file from your local storage.

Validity: Define the document's expiration.

Confirm: Click Save.
Review Permit History
Audit the lifecycle of permits associated with the WO.

Navigate to the bottom of the Permit Management page.

Click History.
-
to view a chronological log of all requested, obtained, and expired permits for that Work Order.

Enter any of the following information in the Search filter to find specific permits:

Permit Required Id: The permit’s unique ID

Permit Required Code: The permit’s code.

History Insert Date From/To: The date range between which to search for permits.

Click Search. A list of all requested, obtained, and expired permits for a WO will appear.

Click Close to return to the main Work Order screen.
