Day Saturation Management

Day Saturation allows you to limit the automatic scheduling of operational resources by reserving time for non-routine or extra activities. By defining these rules in either absolute minutes or percentages, you ensure that staff are never 100% "saturated," preventing burnout and maintaining flexibility. This document provides the specific steps required to create, search for, and associate these rules with your teams.

Create a New Day Saturation Rule

Follow these steps to define a new rule for resource availability.

  1. Navigate to MAIN MENUCONFIGURATIONSCHEDULING OPTIMIZATIONDAY SATURATION.

  2. Click on the Operations submenu and select NEW RULE.

  3. Enter a unique Code and Description for the rule.

  4. In the Unavailability Rules Type dropdown, select either Percentage or Absolute.

  5. Enter the numerical Value (minutes for absolute, or the percentage amount).

  6. Define the Validity Interval by entering the From and To dates.

  7. Select an Operations Center from the dedicated field and click ADD (repeat for multiple centers).

  8. Define active days by selecting specific days, Festive days, or Day before holiday from the field and clicking ADD.

  9. Click INSERT to save the rule.

Use this process to locate specific rules or update their parameters.

  1. Navigate to MAIN MENUCONFIGURATIONSCHEDULING OPTIMIZATIONDAY SATURATION.

Associate Rules with Resources and Teams

After a rule is created, it must be assigned to specific personnel or teams to take effect.

  3. Enter the Rule Description or Operations Center and click SEARCH.

Multiple rules can be associated with a single Operations Center, allowing you to apply different saturation levels to different groups within the same location.
