Validate measurements

Audience: Dispatchers, managers

To maintain data integrity, logged measurements require review and validation. Users can view details, modify pending records, and officially approve or reject the submitted data.

Prerequisite

Before you start, to create measurements, see Create measurements.

Follow the UI path

All following instructions start from this system path:

1. Navigate to Feature > Core > Asset Management > Measurements.

2. In the Search panel, enter at least one search parameter.

3. Click Search.

Validate measurements

To approve the data of a measure and upgrade the status to “Validated”:

1. In the Measurements list, find a measurement currently in a “To validate” status.

2. Click the measurement’s Three dots menu.

3. Select Validate measure.

Reject measurements

To reject the data and downgrade the status to “Rejected”:

1. In the Measurements list, next to a measurement, click the Three dots menu.

   • Note: This works for measurements in both “To validate” and “Validated” statuses.

2. Select Reject measure.
