View facility details and history

Audience: Administrators and dispatchers

Review a facility’s full operational history with associated work orders (WOs) and notifications. Facilities are components or elements of your technical objects.

Prerequisites

Before you start, define the high-level types, statuses, and hierarchical rules that govern assets. 

• To define facility types, see Configure asset data.

Follow the UI path

All following instructions start from this system path:

1. Navigate to Features > Core > Asset Management > Technical Object Search.

2. In the Filters panel, fill in one or more of the search fields.

3. Click Search.

Access a facility archive 

To view the historical logs of the facility and track subsequent modifications made to its master data, address, or feature values:

1. In the Search technical object table, next to the facility you wish to manage, click the Three dots menu > Display.

2. In the Search technical object table, find the desired technical object.

3. Click the Three dots menu > Display.

4. On the Facility detail page, click the Facility archive button.

Access multimedia attachments

To upload relevant files, schematics, or photos to the system to the facility record:

1. In the Search technical object table, find the desired technical object.

2. Click the Three dots menu > Display.

3. On the Facility detail page, click the Multimedia attachments button.

4. In the File list, look for desired multimedia.

View technical objects summary

To see all of the technical objects that are associated with an operations center (OC):

1. On the Technical object search page, click the Technical object summary button.

2. In the Search tab, enter at least one of these parameters:

   • Operations center: The OC in which to view the technical objects.

   • Root facility type: The type of technical object.

   • Town: The technical objects in a town or city.

3. Click Search.

4. In the Facilities list table, view the OC’s technical objects. 

View facility history

To track historical or compliance-based data snapshots, navigate to the Census archive tab.

1. In the Search technical object table, find the desired technical object.

2. Click the Three dots menu > Display.

3. On the Facility detail page, click the Census archive tab.

View more facility data

Use the secondary tabs at the top of the window to gain context on the facility's operational status without leaving the detail view:

1. In the Search technical object table, find the desired technical object.

2. Click the Three dots menu > Display.

3. Select a tab:

   • Facility components: View child facilities and descendants.

   • WO archive: Track all past and scheduled WOs and reported breakdowns.

   • Notifications history: Track all past and scheduled WOs and reported breakdowns.

   • Dynamic forms sheet: Review forms and data collected during past field operations.

   • Account data: Check account information on partners and customers.

   • Partners: Check associated contracts and customer relationships.
