Linear assets (or continuous assets) are technical objects managed in segments, such as road segments, pipelines, railway tracks, or power lines. Since it forms a line, a linear asset has at least two sets of coordinates that are used to calculate travel time between start and end points. You can easily locate and validate linear asset facilities on both desktop and mobile.
Note: To ensure accurate technician navigation, if the linear asset is recessed or offset from the standard road graph, the platform manages additional routing parameters.
