Create an Operation Type

Add a new Work Order (WO) operation type to categorize the task. Categorize work based on the technical nature of the activity, which helps create complex WO Operation Types.

Add an operation type

1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Work Order Management → WO Operation Types.

2. Click Operation Types

3. Click New.

4. Enter the WO operation type’s information:

   1. Code: The WO operation type’s unique internal ID.

   2. Description: The WO operation type’s description.

   3. Order: The order in which the system prioritizes the WO operation type.

   4. Active: Whether the WO operation type is active.

5. Click Insert.

Edit an operation type

1. In the Operation Types table, click the operation type you want to edit.

2. Edit the operation information as needed.

3. Click Save.
