Create a Work Order Operation Type

A Work Order Operation type defines the precise resource and center needed to create a new Work Order Operation and execute a task. This ensures every intervention is consistently classified, which the scheduling engine to match the correct operational environment with the appropriate personnel for every work cycle.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have created or verified the existence of all component types that will define your new Work Order Operation Type:

• Operation type

  • See Create an Operation Type.

• Resource type

  • See Create a Resource Type

• Work center type

  • See Create a Work Center Type

Create a Work Order Operation Type

1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Work Order Management > WO Operation Types.

2. Click New.

3. Select an option for each of the following components from the respective dropdown list:

   1. Operation Type

   2. Resource Type

   3. Work Center Type

4. Click Insert.

Edit a Work Order Operation Type

1. In the WO Operation Types table, locate the WO Operation that you want to edit.

2. Click the three dots menu.

3. Click Edit.

4. Edit the information as needed.

5. Click Save.
