Create a Work Center Type

Work center types define organizational units or physical locations responsible for managing and executing field activities. They’re the building blocks for defining Work Order (WO) operation types. Categorize various operational hubs, such as internal maintenance shops or external contractor bases, into a structured registry.

Search for a work center type

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Work Order Management.

  2. Click Work Center Types.

  3. Enter search parameters in the Search section.

  4. Click Search.

Add a work center type

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Work Order Management >Work Order Management.

  2. Click Work Center Types.

  3. Click New.

  4. Enter the WO Work Center’s information:

    • Code: The work center type’s unique internal ID.

    • Description: The work center type’s description.

    • Order: The order in which the system prioritizes the work center type.

    • Active: Whether the work center is active.

  5. Click Insert.

Edit a work center type

  1. In the Work Center Types table, click the work center type you want to edit.

  2. Edit the work center information as needed.

  3. Click Save.
