Create a Resource Type

Add a resource type for a Work Order (WO) operation. Classify the different categories of personnel or equipment available for field assignments. Group resources based on their operational role, and ensure that every WO is automatically matched with the specific class of resource required.

Search for a resource type

1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Work Order Management → WO Operation Types.

2. Click Resource Types.

3. Enter search parameters in the Search section.

4. Click Search.

Add a resource type

1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Work Order Management > WO Operation Types

2. Click Resource Types.

3. Click New.

4. Enter the WO resource’s information:

   1. Code: The resource type’s unique internal ID.

   2. Description: The resource type’s description.

   3. Order: The order in which the system prioritizes the resource type.

   4. Resource Enterprise: The resource’s company.

   5. Active: Whether the WO operation type is active.

5. Click Insert.

Edit a resource type

1. In the Resource types table, click the resource type you want to edit.

2. Edit the operation information as needed.

3. Click Save.
