Create a Work Order Type

Overview

A work order type defines the essential components that are needed to create a new Work Order.

Before you start

Ensure that you have created or verified the existence of all component types that will define your new Work Order Type:

• Request type

• Service type

• Technical object type (also called facility type)

See Configure Work Order Types | Prepare Required Components.

Create a Work Order Type

1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Work Order Management > WO Types.

2. Select New.

3. Select an option for each of the following components from the respective dropdown list:

   1. Request Type

   2. Facility Type

   3. Service Type

   4. Structure

   5. Mobile Accounting Type

4. Add at least one OC Association Type.

5. Select Save.
