Validate a field census

Audience: Dispatchers, managers

After a field technician submits census data and closes the work order (WO), a dispatcher must validate the submission before the official asset registry updates.

Prerequisites

Before you start, perform at least one census.

All following instructions start from this system path:

Features > Core > Asset Management > Search/Validate Registries

Validate a census

To find recent interventions:

1. On the Search registries tab, enter at least one of these parameters:

   • WO code

   • Facility

   • Creation date interval (not exceeding a month)

2. Click Search.

3. In the Registry list, find a record with the status “To validate”.

4. Click the Edit icon.

5. Update the assessed facility status with one of these values:

   • Active

   • Under construction

   • Not active

   • Maintenance

6. As needed, review and manually edit the specific asset features.

7. Choose a validation outcome:

   • To approve: Click Save and validate.

     • The status upgrades to “Validated”.

   • To reject: Click Reject if the field values are incorrect.

     • The status downgrades to “Rejected”.

8. Click Save.
