Audience: Field technicians
On mobile, if you need to update an asset but aren’t currently assigned to a related work order (WO), you can perform a census manually through a facility of a technical object in the system.
Prerequisite
Before you start, make sure your administrator configures the census. See Configure a census.
Use a census
To capture census data in the field based on a technical object:

On the mobile app, navigate to the Search facility section.

To find the relevant technical object, enter your criteria into the search fields.

In the results, locate the specific element.

Tap the Census button.

In the feature-editing window, update the required data.

At the top right, tap the Save button.
