Create a Skill Configuration

Define the full list of the required skills for an activity and the team. To influence how skills are divided among technicians, set the minimum and maximum cardinality for each skill and related skill division. The skill configuration is associated with a single activity to be completed.

Set skill configuration

To create a new skill configuration:

1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Parameters > Skill Management > Skill Configurations.

2. Click Add Configuration.

3. Enter the following information:

   1. Description: the skill configuration’s description.

   2. Code: the skill configuration’s internal code.

   3. Minimum card: the minimum number of resources required.

   4. Maximum card: the maximum number of resources required.

4. Click Insert.

Associate skill configuration with a skill

To associate a skill configuration with a skill

1. Locate the skill configuration you want to edit.

2. Click the three dots menu

3. Click Edit Skill Association.

4. Select the skills that you want to associate in the Available column and drag-and-drop them to the Selected column.

5. Click Save.

Associate skill configuration with a skill division

To associate a skill configuration with a skill:

1. Locate the skill configuration you want to edit.

2. Click the three dots menu

3. Click Edit Skill Division Association.

4. Select the skill divisions that you want to associate in the Available column and drag-and-drop them to the Selected column.

5. Click Save.
