Configure qualifications

Audience: Dispatchers

Qualifications are an optional element that can be specific or generic. Add qualifications if a certificate or license is necessary to perform a skill. For example, to maneuver a crane, a resource needs a valid driving license and a special vehicle driver certificate.

Follow the UI path

All following instructions start from this system path:

Configuration > Core > Skill Management > Qualifications

Create a qualification

To create a qualification:

1. At the bottom of the Qualifications page, click the New Qualification button.

2. In the Qualification window, enter:

   • Description: The qualification’s description.

   • Code: The qualification’s internal code.

   • Order: The order the system uses to auto-assign the qualification to a resource and schedule.

     • SeeUse the Schedulable Activities tab.

   • Active: Whether the qualification is active.

   • Generic: Whether this is a generic qualification.

3. Click Insert.

Edit a qualification

To edit a qualification:

1. On the Qualifications page, in the Filters panel, enter search parameters.

2. Click Search.

3. In the Qualification list, click the Three dots menu for a qualification.

4. Click Edit.

5. In the Qualification window, edit the fields as needed.

6. Click Save.
