When a resource has primary skills assigned to them, all of the secondary skills in the system are automatically included as well.

Understand how multiple skills work
When multiple skills are associated with a resource:

An error appears if one of the secondary skills of the selected primary skill is already associated with the resource.

If none of the secondary skills are already associated with the resource:

The multiple skills are now associated with the resource.

All of the secondary skills are removed from the list of available skills, so they aren’t duplicated.

Note: Only the parent skill associated with the resource is displayed, not the child skills.
Add skills to a multiple skill
To add secondary skills to a primary skill:

Navigate to Configuration > Core > Skill Management > Skills.

Click the Three dots menu for a desired skill.

Select Change association skill qualification.

In the Associate skill qualification window, drag skills from the Available column into the Associate column.

Click Save.
