Manage resource calendars

Manage daily variations in a resource’s schedule. Allow for day-specific adjustments to a resource’s shifts, locations, and service territory.

Add calendar objects

To add information about resource availability:

  1. Navigate to Features > Core > Resource Management > Resources.

  2. In the search window, select an operations center from the drop-down.

  3. Click Search.

  4. In the Scheduling resources table, click the Three dots menu to the left of the resource.

  5. Click Define Calendar.

  6. In the Defining user calendar table, click the Plus icon on a weekday.

  7. In the new window, select one:

    • New Shift: Add a new work shift for the resource.

    • New On Duty Availability: Specify when the resource is available.

    • New Absence: Add a vacation period for a resource.

    • New Extra Presence: Add a resource to cover an absent resource’s work shift.

  8. Enter the required information.

  9. Click either:

    • Save.

    • Confirm.

Edit a calendar

To edit a calendar for a resource in the Defining user calendar table:

  1. In the workday row, click the three dots menu.

  2. Click one:

    • Modify: For the day, change a resource’s work shift.

    • Associate Base Point: For the day, change where the resource is based.

    • Associate scheduling area: For the day, change the resource’s scheduling area.

    • Remove: Remove the resource’s shift.

  3. Enter the required information.

  4. Click Close.
