Import Resources

Perform massive inputs of resource types and scheduling resources to populate the system with necessary master data such as credentials, user types, and movement profiles. Ensure that each technician is correctly mapped to their respective Operations Center (OC), scheduling areas, and home bases, which are essential prerequisites for accurate automated and manual dispatching.

Before you start

To be able to import the resources:

1. Create one or more of:

   1. User types

   2. Resource types

   3. Operations centers

2. Match the code of an existing user type, resource type, and operations center with these values in the columns of the .xls file.

Import resources

1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Data Import/Export Tool.

2. At the top, in the Configuration dropdown, select either:

   • Resource types.

   • Scheduling resources.

3. Click Import > Choose File.

4. Select the .xls file.

5. Click Upload.
