Audience: Dispatchers
Assign a vehicle to a resource for the commute to, from, and between jobs. The vehicle determines travel time, which affects scheduling for the resource.
Prerequisite
Before you start, you must have both the resource and the vehicle created in NextGen FSM. See Create a Resource and Create a Vehicle.
Follow the UI path
All instructions start on this system path:
Features > Core > Resource Management > Resources
Link a vehicle to a resource
To connect a resource with a vehicle they use at their worksite:

On the Resources page, in the Filters panel, enter desired parameters.

Click Search.

In the Scheduling resources list, click a resource.

In the Organization section, in the Vehicles field, use the search function to find and select the desired vehicle.

Click Save.
