Create categories of the vehicle types that resources use for jobs. This master data determines a resource’s estimated time of arrival and the time between appointments.
Follow the UI path
All instructions start on this system path:
Features > Core > Resource management > Vehicle Type
Create a new vehicle type
To create a vehicle type:

At the bottom of the Vehicle Type page, click the + New button.

In the creation window, enter:

Code: An alphanumeric code to identify the vehicle

Description: A description of the vehicle

Sorting: A custom priority number that you can use to sort the list of vehicle types.

Visible: Whether the vehicle type appears in the list when creating specific vehicles.

Click Insert.
