Manage Team Addresses and Travel Modes

When two technicians live in different locations but work on the same team, the scheduling engine needs strict rules on how to calculate their morning travel time and where the "start" point is. During automatic scheduling, you can apply a mathematical routing constraint:

  • Adjust to nearest: The engine calculates travel time so the first to arrive starts the clock. Use this when you want the intervention to start as soon as possible, prior to the arrival of all team members.

    • Note that this might affect the calculated schedules of the team members who are not first to arrive.

  • Adjust to farthest: The engine ensures the job doesn't start until the member furthest away arrives. For safety reasons, you may require both members of a team to be on-site before starting work by adjusting to the farthest.
