Create an outcome class

An Outcome Class is a classification tool within the Scheduling Configuration that determines the initial validation status of a service debriefing. It allows the system to deviate from "Default" validation settings by evaluating specific attributes of an intervention.

Search for an outcome class rule

1. In the Search tab, select the WO type you want to search by.

2. In the Outcome Cause tab, select the Outcome Cause you want to search by.

3. Click Search.

Add a new outcome class rule

1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Work Order Management > Accounting > Validation Rules > Outcome Classes.

2. Click New Rule.

3. Enter the following information:

   1. Description: The outcome class’s description

   2. Outcome Reason: Click the search icon to select an outcome cause for the outcome class.

   3. WO Type: Click the search icon to select a WO type for the outcome class.

   4. Sorting:

   5. Assigned to an internal user: Whether the outcome class is assigned to an internal user.

   6. Visible: Whether the outcome class is visible.

4. Click Save.

Modify an outcome class rule

1. Click the outcome class rule you want to edit in the Outcome Classes table.

2. In the Modify Rule pop-up window, edit the information as needed.

3. Click Save.
