The Crew Shell Monitor is your central hub for viewing, searching for, and managing your crew shells. This tool helps you quickly find the information you need, filter crews by specific criteria like operation center or active status, and access related management features.

Understand the basic characteristics of a Crew Shell, such as its Operation Center and active status, which are key filtering criteria.
Access the Crew Shell Monitor
To open the monitor and find a specific crew shell, follow these steps:

Navigate to the Crew Shells interface (Main menu > Features > Core > Resource Management > Crew Shells). This action opens the Crew Shell Monitor, which displays the Crew Shells List table and a filters panel on the right side of the page.

Click the filter panel (usually a small arrow or icon on the right side) to expand it.

In the Crew Shell section of the filter panel, apply your filters:

Operation Center (Required): Select the geographic area or business unit where the crew operates. You must choose an operation center to search.

Crew Shell: Find and select specific crew shells by their names.

Description: Use a partial or full description to find crews.

Active: Filter by active status to see only active, inactive, or all crews.

After setting your criteria, click Search (if available, typically at the bottom of the filter panel) to apply the filters and update the Crew Shell List.
Understand the Crew Shell List Details
The main table shows you key details for each crew shell. Here’s what each column means:

Id: Unique internal identification code.

Operation Center: The operation center where the Crew Shell operates.

Code: Identification code of the Crew Shell.
-
Description: Description of the Crew Shell.
-
Crew Size: Defines the minimum number of resources (technicians) needed on the Crew Shell.

Movement Type: The method used to calculate Crew Shell movements.

Active: Indicates if the Crew Shell is currently active or not. Active Crew Shells are used for scheduling and appear in the Schedule/Calendar views.

Departure Address: Indicates the starting point of the Crew Shell used to calculate the route. This is displayed in a read-only mode here. To change it, use the Manage Crew Shell Addresses feature.

Arrival Address: Indicates the ending point of the Crew Shell used to calculate the route. This is also displayed in a read-only mode here. To change it, use the Manage Crew Shell Addresses feature.

Color: Indicates the color assigned to the Crew Shell. This color is used in the Crew Shell Monitor, the Daily Plan, and the Multi-day Plan to easily identify the Crew Shells in lists and on the Map.
Tip: While activating a Crew Shell is always possible, turning one off is only possible if the Crew Shell has no orders assigned to execute today or in the future. If tasks are assigned, deactivation is blocked, and a warning is displayed. To turn it off, you must first remove all assigned activities.
Customize the Crew Shell List View
You can adjust how the Crew Shell List is presented to suit your needs:

Rearrange columns: Click Rearrange columns (at the top of the table) to access all available columns and choose to rearrange their order in the table using the show/hide and how-to options.

Re-order rows: Click Order (at the top of the table) to change the sorting order of the Crew Shells displayed in the table (from ascending to descending and vice versa).
Refresh the Crew Shell List
To update the Crew Shell List in the table and retrieve the latest information based on the currently set filters, click Refresh on the right side of the table.
Access Related Crew Shell Management Features
From the Crew Shell List table, you can quickly access specific management features for each Crew Shell via the three dots row menu (contextual menu) located on the left side of each row:

View Detail: Allows you to view the comprehensive details of a selected Crew Shell.

Addresses: Leads to the management of the Crew Shell's departure and arrival points. This feature is described in Manage Crew Shell Addresses.

Skills: Directs you to define, add, or remove the competencies required by the Crew Shell. This feature is described in Associate a skill with a Crew Shell.
