Manage multistage operation details

View the time dependencies for a multistage operation. The form includes the "Multistage Group Properties" section, the "WO Operation Properties" section, and sections to manage specific dependencies.

View operation properties

Expand or collapse the "Multistage Group Properties" and "WO Operation Properties" sections to view read-only attributes for the current group and operation:

  • "Code"

  • "Status"

  • "WO - WO Operation" ID

  • "Activity"

  • "WO Operation Type"

  • "Customer / Technical Object"

  • "Address"

  • "Resource Time Commitment"

  • "Team Cardinality"

Manage time dependencies

Add or edit time constraints in the following dependency sections:

  • "Start-Start Dependencies": Require the current activity to start at the exact same moment as another operation.

  • "Finish-Start Dependencies": Require the current activity to start when another operation finishes.

  • "Same-Day Dependencies": Require the current activity to start on the same day as another operation.

To create a new dependency:

  1. Click New in the relevant section to open the "New Multistage Dependencies" panel.

  2. Select the source or target operation to link to the current activity.

  3. Specify the "Min Offset" (start as soon as possible) and "Max Offset" (start no later than) to delay the start of the task. Set no offset for a same-day dependency.

  4. Configure holiday rules to space activities based on global and organizational calendars. This holiday logic currently applies only to manual schedule tasks. Both flags default to "Yes" to ensure backward compatibility and treat holidays as regular days:

    • Consider Calendar Holidays: Select this option to calculate offsets using a simple calendar-day count, treating holidays defined in the Global System Calendar as regular days. Clear this option to skip holidays defined in the Global System Calendar.

    • Consider Operational Center Holidays: Select this option to calculate offsets using a simple calendar-day count, treating holidays specific to the operations center as regular days. Clear this option to skip holidays specific to the operations center.

  5. Click Save.

Next to an existing dependency, click the menu to execute these actions:

  • Edit: Change the "Min Offset" and "Max Offset" time frames.

  • Delete: Remove the time dependency.

  • View Operation Detail: View the details of the other operation involved in the dependency.

At the bottom of the panel, click the following buttons to consult related records:

  • View Work Order

  • View Multistage Group
