Give facility types default characteristics to automatically associate attributes to a technical object, such as:

Default feature values.

Whether a feature is in edit or read-only mode.

Necessary conditions to compile the features.

Follow the UI path
The instructions start from this system path:
Configuration > Core > Asset Management > Facility Types
Assign facility type default characteristics
Important: Whenever you add a new default characteristic, the system automatically adds it to all existing assets that belong to that specific facility type.
To associate features from one or more classes to each type:

In the Filters panel, enter your desired parameters.

Click Search.

In the Facility types list, next to the type, click the Three dots menu.

Select Default facility type features.

Enter:

Class: The facility characteristics class.
-
Feature: The feature that automatically applies to this asset type.

Click Save.
Edit facility type default characteristics
Important: When you remove a characteristic, the system automatically deletes it from all existing assets belonging to that specific facility type.
To change the default characteristics of a facility type:

In the Filters panel, enter your desired parameters.

Click Search.

In the Facility types list, next to the desired type, click the Three dots menu.

Select Edit.

On the Edit facility type page, make all desired changes.

Click Save.
