To ensure every work request is categorized and processed correctly, define work order (WO) types. First, to create a work order type, you must prepare three key components:
-
Request type: The type of request, such as ordinary maintenance, emergency service, or customer requests.
-
Service type: The type of services, like an inspection or cleaning.
-
Technical object type: The type of assets where work takes place.
After you create these components, you can combine them to define a unique WO type. You can also define what materials technicians can use and mass import WO type data.
