Permits are documents required to manage work orders (WO) in the field. To plan interventions that have “blocker” permits, you must ensure the permits are valid before you schedule work. Within a WO, permits may be associated with one or more operations within the work cycle.
Permits have limited validity, and may even expire after a single intervention. To ensure records are up-to-date, track and check the status of WO permits over time. The system alerts you if a permit needs to be updated, and the WO needs to be rescheduled.
