Work order (WO) operation types provide a unique definition of a given operation. First, to define a WO operation type, you must specify these components:
-
Operation type: The type of technical activity.
-
Resource type: The operational role of personnel or equipment available for field assignments.
-
Work center type: Operational hubs that organize units or physical locations that manage and execute field activities.
After you create these components, you can combine them to define unique operation types. You can also mass import WO types and define what materials technicians can use.
