Modules management

Introduction

A module is a functional component designed to perform specific tasks. Modules can be activated as needed to carry out particular functions, such as network management, editing, flow tracing, and network validation. Once the module is no longer needed, it can be deactivated, allowing users to return to other tasks within the system.

Modules are like building blocks that extend the platform's functionality for specific tasks or workflows. Each module adds a specialized set of tools and features.

It's important to clarify that modules are portions of code, which means that they cannot be created or deleted via configuration; they can only be parameterized.

From the user’s perspective, modules can be enabled using a dedicated toolbar button, described here: Module widget
