Use module opening modes

As you configure a module, determine if multiple modules can be opened at the same time.

See Configure modules.

Use exclusive opening mode

To open an “Exclusive” module, it has to be opened alone and all other modules must close:

1. Open “Exclusive” or “Append” modules.

2. Open a new module that is “exclusive”.

3. In the pop-up, when the system asks if you want to close other opened modules, click Confirm. 

Once the other modules are closed, the “Exclusive” module opens with the map and extent.

Use append opening mode

In “Append”, the module can be appended to other modules:

1. Open “Exclusive” or “Append” modules.

2. Open a new “Append” module.

3. In the pop-up, when the system asks to close all modules in “exclusive” mode, click Confirm. 

   • The system removes all services of the closed module.

The system adds on the map new module’s services, but it doesn’t change extant.

Note: If two modules have some services in common, the system closes only services not in common.
