Monitor Work Order Suspension and Cancellation Status

To prevent accidental processing, dispatchers and operations managers can immediately identify if a work order (WO) is about to be cancelled or suspended.

Before you begin

In NextGen FSM, ensure you have access to the Work order detail page.

Check suspension and cancellation status

To see the WO status and determine what to do next:

  1. Navigate to Features > Core > Work Order Management > Search WO.

  2. Search for the WO.

  3. Click the WO.

  4. On the Work Order detail page, find the Suspension/Cancellation Status field. This field is typically in the main summary or status section.

  5. Determine the WO’s status:

    • Active Suspension: The WO is currently suspended.

    • Pending Cancellation: The WO is marked for cancellation.

    • (Empty): The WO isn’t currently about to be suspended or cancelled.

Note: A suspension or cancellation flag may indicate either that the work order is currently locked or that it has been marked for cancellation after being dispatched to the mobile workforce.
