Create a Group

Groups are used to organize technical objects for shared documentation or specific operational views. They provide a flexible layer of organization that helps users quickly identify, filter, and manage complex sets of equipment within a large-scale infrastructure.

Add a new group

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Asset Management >

  2. Click New Group.

  3. Enter the following information:

    1. Operations Center: Select the relevant Operations Center (OC) from the drop-down menu.

    2. Code: The group’s unique internal ID.

    3. Description: The group’s description.

    4. Order: The order the group will appear in the group list.

    5. Color: Choose a Color to represent the group on the map or in lists.

    6. Active: Whether the group is active.

  4. Enter the Code, Description, and Order.

  5. Click Save.

Search for existing groups

  1. In the Search section, enter the following information:

    1. Operations Center: Select the relevant Operations Center (OC) from the drop-down menu.

    2. Code: The group’s unique internal ID.

    3. Description: The group’s description.

    4. Object Code: The technical object’s unique internal ID.

    5. Active: Whether the group is active.

  2. Click Search

Edit a group

  1. Click the three dots menu for a group.

  2. Edit the group’s information in the Groups pop-up window.

  3. Click Save.
