Associate intervention groups with work orders

To ensure greater flexibility, a single work order (WO) is assigned across your configuration, not directly to an individual intervention group. When a WO of a specific type is created, the system identifies the work cycle and the associated activity, then it retrieves the configured intervention group. You can configure this association through the activity, work cycle, or conditional rules.

Prerequisites

Before you start:

Assign through activities

This standard method defines the intervention group used during the accounting phase of a specific activity:

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Work Order Management > Activity.

  2. In the Activity list table, click on a desired Activity row.

  3. In the Edit activity window, select an intervention group from the dropdown.

  4. Click Edit.

Assign through work cycles

If your activities are part of work cycles, you can assign specific intervention groups to individual operations of the cycle:

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Work Order Management > Work Cycles.

  2. Choose an action:.

  3. In the Work cycle table, while you define the operations (rows) of the cycle, locate the Intervention group column/field.

  4. Select the appropriate intervention group for the specific operation.

    • This allows each phase of the cycle to have independent accounting rules.

  5. Click Ok.

Assign through rules

For more complex scenarios, configure conditional rules that dynamically change the intervention group in the field based on the technician's selections or outcomes:

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Work Order Management > Accounting > Intervention Groups.

  2. In the Search tab, enter desired parameters.

  3. Click Search.

  4. Next to the intervention group, click the Three dots menu.

  5. Select Edit rules.

  6. In the Intervention group rules table, click on a desired row.

  7. In the Rule application parameters table, choose criteria for conditional rules from each of the columns:

    • Activities.

    • Service types.

    • Outcome causes.

  8. Click Save.
