Manage scheduling zone associations

To manage daily geographic coverage, link teams to specific scheduling zones. To ensure resource allocation adjusts as operational demands change, use a flexible, date-based approach.

Search for scheduling zone associations

To view or modify the status of assignments for a specific day and operation center:

  1. Navigate to Features > Core > Resource management > Scheduling Zones Association.

  2. In the Filters panel, select:

    • Operation center.

    • Date.

  3. If needed, select:

    • Team: Select one or more specific teams.

    • Unassigned teams: Check to include teams without assignments.

    • Unassigned zones: Check to include zones without assignments.

  4. Click Search.

Create associations

To assign work orders (WOs) to teams or zones:

  1. In the Scheduling zones association page, drag and drop:

    • To link a team to a zone, click and drag a record from the Teams table to another record in the Scheduling area table, and release.

    • To link a zone to a team, click and hold a record from the Scheduling areas table to another record in the Teams table.

  2. In the Associated column of either table, verify there is a checkmark.

Manage association details

To change existing associations or use a dual-list selection for multiple assignments:

  1. Choose to either:

    • In the Teams table, locate the specific team.

    • In the Zones table, locate the specific zone.

  2. Click the Three dots menu > Edit.

  3. In the Assign scheduling areas window:

    • To create links, move WOs from the Available panel to the Associated panel.

    • To remove links, move items from the Associated panel to the Available panel.

  4. Click Confirm.

Duplicate associations across a period

Important: Duplication overwrites pre-existing associations for those specific teams within the selected destination range.

To save time, replicate a specific day's configuration in the future for one or more teams:

  1. In the Teams table, to select one or more teams, click the checkboxes next to the teams’ names.

  2. Above the table, click the Duplicate button.

  3. In the pop-up window, set:

    • Target start date.

    • Target end date.

  4. Click Save.
