Configure default geographical addresses

Set addresses for an Operations Center (OC). These addresses typically represent the head offices or base locations of a territorial unit and serve as the starting or ending points for technician routing.

Assign an Address to an Operations Center

Each OC can be associated with one or multiple geographical addresses to define its physical presence.

  1. Go to Configuration > Core > Organizational Structure > Operations Centers.

  2. Click the three dots menu for OC you wish to configure.

  3. Click Default Address Configuration.

  4. Click New Address.

  5. Fill out the required information, including:

    • Description

    • Country

    • Town

    • Postcode

    • Address

    • Street Number

  6. Click OK.

Geocode the Address

After you enter the text address, convert it into geographic coordinates (Latitude and Longitude) so the system can place it on a map.

  1. In the address form, click the Cartography icon.

  2. The system uses the Google Geocoding API to automatically search for the coordinates based on the text provided.

  3. The calculated coordinates will appear in the Latitude and Longitude fields.

Refine the Map Position

If the automatic geocoding is slightly off, you can manually adjust the position.

Manual Coordinate Input

  1. Click Manual Input.

  2. Type the exact Latitude and Longitude values, in decimal format.

  3. Click Save.

Map Interaction

  2. Click and drag the red pin to the exact desired location.
