Configure an Operations Center

Create an Operations Center (OC) to define your organizational hierarchy. Link your physical work locations with the logical structures and geographic layers that the scheduling engine uses.

Search for existing OCs

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Organizational Structure > Operations Center.

  2. In the Filters section on the right side of the interface, enter OC search information in the following fields:

    • Code: enter the OC’s unique code.

    • Description: the OC’s description.

    • HR Code: the OC’s external HR or ERP systems code.

    • Structure: the OC’s Reference Structure code.

    • Country: the country where the OC is located.

  3. Click Search. A list of OCs that meet these search terms will appear in the Operations Center list.

Add a new OC

To add a new OC:

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Organizational Structure > Operations Center.

  2. At the bottom of the interface, click Add Operations Center

  3. Fill in the following fields:

    • Code: a unique code for the OC.

    • Structure: select a Reference Structure code for the OC.

    • Description: a description for the OC.

    • Disable Manual Scheduling History: whether to disable the OC’s scheduling archive.

    • HR code: the OC’s external HR or ERP systems code

    • Plant Layer: the OC’s facility object

    • Country: the country where the OC is located.

    • X: the OC’s latitudinal geographic coordinate.

    • Y: the OC’s longitudinal geographic coordinate.

    • Timesheet Profile: the OC’s timesheet profile type.

  4. Click Insert. The OC will appear in the Operations Center list.

Add more information to an OC

To configure each OC with more specific information:

  1. Click the three-dots menu for an OC.

  2. In the pop-up window, select one of the following functions:

    • Display: to view the OC.

    • Modify: to modify the OC.

    • Operations Center Composition: to define the administrative area of the OC.

    • Default Addresses Configuration: to set the OC’s default address.

    • Associated Warehouse Configuration: to assign warehouses to the OC.

    • Daily Plan History Settings: to set a recurring snapshot of the Daily Plan at an OC.

    • Associated Work Centers Configuration: to associate a Work Center type with an OC.

    • Manned Facilities Group Composition: to associate a set of facilities with an OC.

  3. In the new interfaces that appear after you select the function, enter the required information.

  4. Click Close to return to the Operations Center list.
