For each order type, define what materials are allowed and the maximum quantity of those materials. When an external system generates the WO, expected materials may be in the data set, received by the source system, or integrated in NextGen FSM.
Set allowed materials and quantities

Navigate to: Main menu > Configuration > Core > Work order management > WO types.

Use the filters to search for the WOs.

Click Search.

To the left of the WO in the table, click the Three dots menu.

In the drop down menu, click Associate allowed materials.

In the Search materials section, use the filters to search for materials.

In the Select allowed materials section, click the Plus icon.

Right click the row of an allowed material.

Click Set max qty.

Fill in the Max qty field.

Click Ok.
Access materials on FSM mobile
On the mobile app, field technicians register materials as they execute an intervention.

You can use the list of allowed materials and their quantities configured by the server.

Even when they are not scheduled in the cycle, allowed materials may be the only materials accounted for in the field.

For each operation of the work cycle, the expected materials may be defined.

The materials for the type of order may also be associated with a work cycle.

If the type of work doesn’t have a material configured, there are no entries on the app.
Note: The quantity and the type of material may be set with or without a serial number.
