To accommodate shifting demands and avoid disruptions during seasonal peaks, companies distribute work across the year. Workload distribution rules help companies spread out work when business is slow and allocate resources where they are needed most when there is high-demand. For example, off-peak service is listed as high-priority to minimize the workload in the busy season.
