Manage and replenish admitted van stock

How to Manage and Replenish Admitted Van Stock

In the FSM Mobile App, maintaining the correct inventory level in your vehicle is essential for completing assignments without delays. This guide explains how to view and request stock for "admitted materials"—items specifically authorized for your mobile warehouse—even when your current onboard quantity is zero because it is a newly adopted spare part.

By using the All Admitted filter on the Mobile Stock Monitor on the device , the technician can ensure that his inventory list remains comprehensive, allowing you to trigger replenishment workflows for any pre-approved material.

Prerequisites

Before managing your van stock, ensure the following:

  • You are logged into the FSM Mobile application.

  • Materials have been configured as Admitted Materials for your specific warehouse in Mobile Warehouse using the back-office configuration named “Admitted Materials” available in the warehouse mobitor.

  • You have an active internet connection to sync your mobile device.

View and Replenish Materials with Zero Quantity

Follow these steps to locate and order admitted materials that are currently out of stock:

  1. Open the Van Stocck: Navigate to the Van Stock section within the mobile application.

  2. Toggle the Admitted Filter: Locate and activate the All Admitted filter option in the Van Stock section.

    • Note: When this filter is inactive, the list typically only displays materials currently in stock in the van or that is used in a material’s kit assigned to the mobile warehouse.

  3. Identify the Material: Browse the updated list to find the admitted material you need to restock.

    • Tip on Inventory Logic: If a material was previously "admitted" but has since been removed from the configuration, it will still appear in your list as long as there is remaining physical stock in the van to ensure you can continue to manage that inventory.

  4. Initiate Replenishment: Select the material and use the Restore or Replenish buttons to generate a request for new stock.
