Lock work order scheduling days

Audience: Administrators and operations managers

To ensure maintenance or service tasks aren’t assigned during restricted periods, prevent certain work orders (WOs) from being scheduled on specific days or time slots.

You can block scheduling based on several different date patterns:

  • Specific dates: Exact, one-off calendar dates (like a planned company-wide shutdown).

  • Generic weekdays: A regular day of the week (like Saturdays or Sundays).

  • Holidays: System-recognized national, local, or company holidays.

  • Pre-holidays: The specific days immediately before a recognized holiday.
