Overview
The Search Notifications section is the centralized hub for managing system notifications. It helps you efficiently search, filter, and organize incoming alerts and messages. This lets you improve data visibility and streamline workflows, allowing users to quickly locate, take action on, and effectively manage critical information across the application.
Find and Manage Notifications
From the main menu, select Search Notifications to display all available notifications in the system. The interface is divided into two sections - Search filters and Search outcomes.
How the App Syncs Notifications
Notification Search is an offline feature that allows the Operator to filter the notifications downloaded with the last server synchronization. The app performs the following tasks during each sync:
-
Downloads new notifications created on the Next-Gen FSM Platform Backend after the last synchronization and linked to your Operations Center (OC).
-
Uploads new notifications that you created on the mobile app.
-
Updates modified notifications on the backend.
-
Uploads any edits that you made to notifications on the mobile app.
Notification Search Filters
The app offers several filters to help you find what you need:
-
Code
-
External Code
-
Status
-
Priority
-
Type
-
WO code
-
A WO can link to multiple Notifications, but a notification can only link to one WO. This WO can be created from the notification, a WO that created the notification, or one associated using the WO Association feature.
-
-
WO status
Available actions are:
-
Clean - clean all previously set filters and launch a new search.
-
Search - launch a local search of notifications, apply the selected filters, and display the outcomes.
View Search Results
For each notification reported in the search outcomes, the following information is provided:
-
Code
-
Type
-
Breakdown Start Time
-
Reporter User
-
Technical Object
-
Associated Work Order
(if any, in the format: WO Code (External Code) - WO Type - WO Status)
Sort Search Results
You can organize your search results using the Sort By dropdown. This simplifies navigation, improves data visibility, and helps users quickly locate and organize the information they need across different areas of the application.
The options available are Code (A-Z)(Z–A) and scheduling date (most or least recent). After you select a field, the results automatically reorganize, making it easier to prioritize and find relevant entries.
View Notification Details
The results list shows a summary of each notification, including its code, type, breakdown start time, reporter, technical object, and any associated WO.
Click any notification to access the Notification Detail panel. The panel contains a clip icon in the header that lets you access the Notification Attachments and a dropdown box that shows the current position. If the notification has multiple positions, you can select a different one to view its details.
If you make any changes, click Save to confirm those changes.
The Notification Detail Panel
The Notification Detail panel contains the following tabs:
-

A section with information about the current Position, such as Anomaly and Object data.

View Notifications from Other Features
You can access notifications from other parts of the app using the Intervention Detail feature. This feature allows access to the details of each Intervention currently assigned to an Operator. Within the Details section, a list of Mobile Cards displays further information about the Intervention.
Notification Mobile Card
The Notification Mobile Card shows a summary of the Notifications linked to the Intervention and allows you to create more if necessary. The Notification shows a card for each existing item with its main information, such as Priority, Code, and Description.
Tap the card to open the Notification Detail panel. Tapping on each card, it’s possible to enter the same Notification Detail Panel shown in the Notifications feature.
In the panel header, tap the + (plus sign) to create a new Notification. The creation panel is the same as described in the Notification Detail Panel section. The new item automatically associates with the WO to which the Intervention is related.
Notification History Card
The Notification History mobile card shows the list of all the Notifications related to the Technical Object of the Intervention.
This feature is available only in online mode, loads only 10 Notifications at a time, and for each of them shows its main information:
-
Code
-
Type
-
Breakdown Start Time
-
Reporter User
-
Technical Object
-
Associated Work Order - if any, in the format WO Code (External Code), WO Type, WO Status.
Tap each result item to see the Notification Detail in the Notifications feature. All the fields are in read-only mode.
EAG Rules and Accounting of Notifications
When an event triggers a push notification through an EAG rule, the alert details appear on all devices. If the notification is for a new alert, your device automatically syncs with the server to show the new notification in your list.
Debriefing and notification closure from mobile
Since the NextGen FSM Mobile Component is used for executing field interventions, the mobile accounting of notifications only happens in case of notifications associated with a WO. The notification accounting, which is the filling out of its data, as specified in the server accounting, occurs through the dedicated card available in the WO details.
