Introduction
The Daily Interventions Agenda on the Next-Gen FSM Platform Mobile app serves as the central hub for field technicians to manage their daily assignments. It provides a comprehensive, organized list of all tasks and activities assigned to a specific resource for a given day, along with tools to filter, sort, and interact with these interventions. This feature ensures technicians have immediate access to their workload and can efficiently navigate through their daily responsibilities.
Agenda Overview on Mobile App
The Daily Interventions Agenda is conceptually divided into two main sections, although their display varies between tablet and smartphone interfaces.
Left Side Section (List View)
This section primarily focuses on presenting and organizing the list of interventions.
-
Top Section: List Filters
To help users quickly find specific interventions, the top part of this section provides powerful filtering options:
-
Work Order Code: Filter by a unique identifier for the work order.
-
Work Order Type: Narrow down by the category or nature of the work order.
-
Municipality: Filter by the geographical location of the intervention.
-
Address: Search by the specific street address.
-
Technical Object Code: Filter by the identifier of the asset or equipment involved.
-
Cartographic Panel Access: Directly switch to a map view to see interventions spatially.
-
Bottom Section: Intervention Lists
Below the filters, interventions are categorized into two distinct tabs:
-
"To Do" Interventions Tab:
-
Lists all interventions assigned to the resource for the selected day that are either not yet started or are currently in progress.
-
The number in brackets indicates the total count of interventions in this list.
-
This list includes:
-
Interventions assigned by the server/operations center via scheduling functionalities.
-
Interventions generated directly in the field by the resource using "UI Management" functionality.
-
Interventions taken charge of by the resource using the "Invoke WO from field" functionality.
-
Interventions resumed by the resource after a previous suspension.
-
-
-
"Done" Interventions Tab:
-
Displays all interventions that a given resource has successfully completed and debriefed on the selected day.
-
The number in brackets specifies the total count of interventions in this list.
-
Both the "To Do" and "Done" lists can be sorted using a dedicated "Sort By" button, allowing users to arrange interventions by various criteria (e.g., time, priority).
-
Date Navigation
Users can easily navigate through their schedule by clicking on any date within the agenda header. This action reveals a detailed daily view for the selected date, along with a preview of upcoming assignments for the following days, providing a forward-looking perspective on their workload.
Right Side Section (Intervention Details & Actions)
This section is dedicated to performing actions and viewing detailed information for a selected intervention.
-
Top Section: Event Performance Buttons
These buttons allow technicians to update the status of an intervention as they progress through their tasks:
-
Take Charge: Assigns the intervention to the technician.
-
Arrival To Site: Marks the technician's arrival at the intervention location.
-
Start Intervention: Indicates the commencement of work on the intervention.
-
Bottom Section: Intervention Information and Actions
This area provides comprehensive details about the chosen intervention:
-
Intervention Section: Displays generic information applicable to all intervention types.
-
User or Facility Section: Provides specific details depending on whether the intervention is related to a customer (user) or a specific asset/location (facility).
-
"Intervention Details" Button: Launches the debriefing process for the completed intervention, allowing technicians to record outcomes, parts used, etc.
-
Navigation: Provides direct navigation to the address or GPS coordinates of the technical object associated with the selected intervention, facilitating on-site travel.
Intervention Status Visual Cues
Within both the "To Do" and "Done" lists, each intervention displays a colored rectangle that visually communicates its current status:
-
RED: Indicates interventions that are assigned but have not yet been taken charge of or performed (status: "to perform").
-
YELLOW: Signifies an intervention that has currently been "taken charge of" by the technician. Note that only one intervention can be in the "YELLOW" (in-charge) status at any given time for a resource.
-
GREEN: Represents interventions that have been successfully performed and debriefed.
-
GREY: Denotes interventions in a read-only mode. This status applies to team assistants who are not the team leader.
-
"Passive assistants" can only access information in read-only mode.
-
"Active assistants" have limited editing independence compared to the team leader, based on Geocall Server settings.
-
In addition to the colored status, each intervention entry provides basic information (e.g., code, description, intervention type) and specific icons that represent various features or attributes of the task.
Smartphone Display Adaptation
For smartphone users, the two main sections (Left Side List View and Right Side Details/Actions) are presented on separate screens due to screen size constraints:
-
Initially, only the Left Side Section (the list of activities for the selected day) is displayed.
-
Upon clicking a specific intervention from the list, the application navigates to a new screen, which then displays the Right Side Section with all the detailed information and action buttons relevant to the chosen intervention.
