This guide explains how to identify if a work order is currently suspended or pending cancellation by viewing a new read-only field on the Work Order Detail Page in OverIT's NextGen FSM platform. This enhancement provides users with clearer operational visibility and improves decision-making during order management.
Before you begin
Ensure you have access to the Work Order Detail Page within the FSM product.
How to Check Suspension/Cancellation Status
-
Navigate to the Work Order Detail Page for the specific work order you wish to check.
-
Locate the
Suspension/Cancellation Statusfield. This field is typically found in the main summary or status section of the page. -
Observe the value displayed in this read-only text field:
-
Active Suspension: The work order is currently suspended. -
Pending Cancellation: The work order has been marked for cancellation. -
(Empty): The work order is not currently subject to suspension or cancellation.
-
After you finish
Understanding the suspension or cancellation status allows dispatchers and operations managers to immediately understand if there is a pending issue on a work order, preventing accidental processing of suspended or soon-to-be-cancelled orders. This improves transparency and enables faster decision-making as users no longer need to query additional systems to verify the order status.
Note that a suspension or cancellation flag may indicate either that the work order is currently locked or that it has been marked for cancellation after being dispatched to the mobile workforce.
