Configure external warehouses

Audience: Administrators

Define dependencies and manage the internal logic for inventory transactions of external warehouses.

Find warehouses

To find a warehouse:

1. Navigate to Configuration > Inventory Management > External Warehouse.

2. At the top right, click the Filters button.

3. In the Filter panel, enter desired parameters:

   • Code: Enter the unique code.

   • Description: Enter the description.

     • Note: To provide translations in all supported languages, click the Globe icon next to the field.

   • Logistic center: Enter the logistic center associated with this warehouse.

   • Movement type: Enter the movement type associated with this warehouse.

   • Active: Check to indicate it is active.

4. Click Search. 

Add warehouses

To enter in a new warehouse:

1. Click the + New button.

2. In the External warehouse window, add information:

   • Code: Enter a unique alphanumeric identifier.

   • Description: Enter the account description. 

     • Note: To provide translations in all supported languages, click the Globe icon next to the field.

   • Movement type: Select the appropriate movement type.

3. If needed, choose:

   • Logistics center: Choose the logistics center the warehouse is associated with.

   • Active: Switch between active and inactive status.

   • Order: Define what type of order it is.

4. Click Save.

Edit warehouses

To update warehouse details:

1. In the External warehouse table, select a warehouse.

2. In the External warehouse window, edit:

   • Code.

   • Description.

   • Movement type.

   • Logistic center.

   • Active.

   • Order.

3. Click Save.
