Validate new workload balancing

Once the new workload balancing is completed, it’s possibile to apply new dates on real work-order operations. This is the “Validation” phase.

Before you start

• Create the workload analysis

• Import work-shifts

• Import work order operations

View Workload Analysis result

1. In the FSM App, navigate to FEATURES → FORECASTING & CAPACITY PLANNING → WORKLOAD ANALYSIS

2. Use the filter panel to search for existing analyses

3. Click the “Workload analysis result” button in the menu button of a selected record in “Processed: OK” status.

4. A new page will be opened showing analysis' result.

5. Go on the table result and click the “Validate” button

The “Validate” button starts a synchronized process that select available operations and change their dates based on the new workload balancing.

Validate algorithm

1. For each movement, select available operations based on filter criteria (operation type, activity, urgency). This operation is made on actualized data, in order to work always on updated data.

2. Before to change the dates, check that “new start date” end “new end date” respect the original execution period window.

3. If there are operations, change the dates on an amount of operations based on the moved time.
