Use forecast activity priorities

Define the priority of each timeframe, so they can be properly handled by the capacity planning algorithm. The impact of each priority level depends on the coverage algorithm’s configuration.

Create a forecast activity priority

To categorize how important a timeframe is:

  1. In the FSM app, click Configuration > Forecasting & capacity planning > Forecast activity priority.

  2. To search for existing records, use the filter panel.

  3. At the top-right of the page, click New to create a new one.

  4. Fill in all mandatory fields in the form.

  5. To create the priority, click Save.

Notes: 

  • The priority value can be from 0 (high priority) to 9 (low priority).

  • Since priority is mandatory, the system will ask you to set a priority as default.

  • If default is true on a priority, that priority is the default for all timeframes that are new or without priority.

Modify or delete a priority

  1. In the row menu, click the Three dot menu.

  2. Select what action you want to do to the forecast shift model:

  • Edit

  • Delete
