Use forecast shift models

To help the planner speed up the work-shift’s configuration phase of a resource forecast, define a shift model that can be used in more resources.

Create a forecast shift model

  1. In the FSM app, click Configuration > Forecasting & capacity planning > Forecast shift model.

  2. To search for existing records, use the filter panel.

  3. At the top-right of the page, click New to create a new one.

  4. Fill in all mandatory fields in the form.

    • Starting Day: The day of the week when the new template starts

    • Sequence: The length of the new shift template

  5. To create the shift model, click Save.

Modify or delete a forecast shift model

  1. In the row menu, click the Three dot menu.

  2. Select what action you want to do to the forecast shift model:

    • Detail: Configure the work shifts' model.

    • Edit: Edit the model’s code and description.

    • Delete: Deactivate the model.

Note: In the detail page, configure for:

  • The day of the week.

  • The total time in minutes of work duration.

  • Unavailability.

  • Unusable time.

  • Max overtime.
