Create a Work Order Operation Type

Overview

A work order operation type defines the essential components that are needed to create a new Work Order Operation.

Before you start

Ensure that you have created or verified the existence of all component types that will define your new Work Order Operation Type:

  • Operation type

  • Resource type

  • Work center type

See Configure Work Order Operation Types | Prepare Required Components.

Create a Work Order Operation Type

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Core > Work Order Management > WO Operation Types.

  2. Select New.

  3. Select an option for each of the following components from the respective dropdown list:

    1. Operation Type

    2. Resource Type

    3. Work Center Type

  4. Select Insert.
