The scenario workflow concludes with the ability to designate a Hypothesis as the approved one. Once confirmed, the system automatically performs a reconcile operation followed by a post operation, ensuring that the default version is aligned with the data of the approved hypothesis.

Ensure at least one Hypothesis is available

Optionally compare alternatives before approval using the compare workflow
Approve an hypothesis

Select the hypothesis you want to approve.

Click the Approve button.

Confirm the action. The selected hypothesis changes status to Approved.
After a hypothesis is approved, the entire Simulation becomes read-only. This includes all hypotheses in the simulation. No further editing is allowed, and it is not possible to change the approved hypothesis.
What happens after approval

The selected hypothesis becomes the approved hypothesis.

All other hypotheses change status to Rejected.

The whole simulation is locked for editing.
Approval is a final decision for the current simulation. Use the comparison tool before approval to analyze differences between alternatives.
Winning hypothesis workflow
After saving changes, the user can create additional Hypotheses and use the comparison tool to analyze the differences between alternatives.
The workflow culminates with the ability to designate a Hypothesis as Winning using Set as Winner.
After confirmation, the system executes a reconcile operation and then a post operation in sequence, aligning the default version with the winning hypothesis data.
Status change

The winner hypothesis, previously in working status, moves to winner status.

All other hypotheses move to loser status.

The simulation moves to completed status.
When the process completes successfully, the default version reflects the data of the winning hypothesis.
