Configure a new external services matrix

To use an external service matrix, set up the core parameters that control how it works in your NextGen FSM system.

Prerequisites

Before you start:

• Have an active license for the Power Scheduling module.

• Define the integration settings. See Define integration settings.

• Understand the scope for the matrix definition and configuration.

Configure the external service matrix

1. Go to FSM > Configuration > Crew Shell > Scheduling Optimization > Matrix. 

2. In the top right corner of the table, next to the Integration Type column, click New Online Matrix. 

   • Note: The columns show no value if the matrix definition refers to the Gisware Native Matrix or shows the Integrated External Service Matrix name, such as Solvice.

3. In the panel that appears, configure the three tabs: 

   • Details: See Configure details for a new external service matrix.

   • Routing configuration: See Configure route calculation details for a new external service matrix.

   • Matrix configuration: See Configure scheduling service details for a new external service matrix.
