Audience: Dispatchers
When a technician can’t complete a task, the system checks the validity of the permits. If a permit needs to be renewed, dispatchers can update the permits and schedule interventions again.
Prerequisites
Before you start:
-
To make permit types that authorize fieldwork, see Create permit types.
-
To make a permit that expires after an intervention, see Create a permit for a single intervention.
Understand permit validity logic
Once a task isn’t able to be completed, the system determines if the permit should remain valid or expire:
-
Upon receiving an incomplete outcome, the system checks the permits for a single intervention configuration table.
-
If the specific combination of permit type and outcome type exists in this table, the system automatically expires the permit with single-use logic.
Schedule an intervention after the permit expires
To plan the return visit:
-
Access permit management at Configuration > Core > Permits > Permits for Single Intervention.
-
Obtain a new valid permit.
-
Register the permit.
-
Schedule the intervention.
